<h1>Traditional Re-Entry</h1><p>What it is, how to spot it, and the rules that govern it — before you jump into the scenarios.</p>

<h3>What is a Traditional Re-Entry?</h3><p>Traditional re-entry applies when a learner who previously withdrew from Nightingale College wants to return to their academic program. They go through a formal review process that may involve paying a new application fee, retaking placement exams, and being evaluated by Registration Management.</p>

<h3>Eligibility Rules </h3>

<div><strong>Withdrawal Count</strong><span>Learners are only allowed three enrollments per program (original enrollment plus two reentry attempts). After three attempts you may transfer to a lesser degree program if available.</span></div>

<div><strong>3x's Failed Nursing Courses</strong><span>Learners who have attempted but have not passed a core nursing course after three attempts are not eligible to return to the same program but may be eligible for another lesser degree or program if available in their area.</span></div>

<div><strong>3x's Failed GE Courses</strong><span>Learners who have attempted but have not passed a general education course after three attempts may take that course elsewhere and transfer it into Nightingale to be eligible to return to the same program.</span></div>

<div><strong>Exceptions</strong><span>The only time a learner can re-enter into the same program is with special exceptions which is goverend by Registration Management.</span></div>

<h3>What is STRE?</h3><p>Short-Term Re-Entry (STRE) is an accelerated re-entry pathway for eligible withdrawn learners. Instead of going through the full re-entry committee review, STRE learners return quickly by honoring all previously submitted documents — no new review of transcripts, testing, or admission placement exams are required.</p>

<h3>What is a Status Update?</h3><p>After RM approves a re-entry application, they send you a Status Update activity. Your job is to go into the enrollment system and formally change the learner's school status from Withdrawn to the appropriate re-entry status using the Re-Entry Wizard.</p>
